Philosophy

At Morning Wildflower & Co, we believe in the beauty of slow creation. Rooted in tradition, our brand is built on a deep respect for ethical craftsmanship and a love for nature-inspired design.

Our journey begins in the hands of skilled artisans in Jaipur, India—masters of wood block printing who have passed their craft down through generations. Each piece we create is thoughtfully made using traditional techniques, natural dyes, and 100% cotton, honoring both the artistry and the environment.

From selecting color palettes to hand-carving intricate wooden blocks, every step in our process is intentional. We embrace the imperfectly perfect nature of handmade work—because it’s in these details that the soul of our brand truly lives.

Led by founder Marlet, Morning Wildflower & Co is more than a label—it’s a community. We are proud to nurture long-standing relationships with our artisan partners and remain committed to preserving the heritage of this ancient craft.

In a world of fast fashion, we choose to slow down. Our pieces are created with care, love, and a sense of purpose—celebrating the earth’s rhythms and the art of thoughtful making.

To wear Morning Wildflower & Co is to carry a story of intention and timeless beauty.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

An Ode to Craft

The creation of a collection begins months in advance. It starts with selecting color palettes, experimenting with combinations, and designing a concept and mood board. Skilled artisans then hand-carve intricate patterns onto teak wood blocks—a process that may require two or more blocks per design, depending on the level of detail and number of colors.

Next, natural dyes are carefully mixed to achieve the desired hues. Each block is dipped in dye and stamped onto 100% cotton fabric with precision and care.

We deeply admire this centuries-old textile tradition, which dates back over 3,000 years and is an essential part of India’s cultural heritage. The natural process, slow printing methods, and beautiful imperfections are what make this craftsmanship truly unique.
